Appeal for Directors
We are looking for members of the community, especially from the off-islands, to join our team of volunteers on the Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors oversee the work plan, individually take responsibility for particular tasks and represent Healthwatch when liaising with other agencies.
It means taking a little responsibility, but it is rewarding. It requires commitment, but it needn’t be onerous. All directors are volunteers and we understand that everyone can take a step back when they need to.
Would you like to join our team and become a Director?
Are there specific areas of interest to you such as, children and young people, adult services or patient experience?
Would you like to become our Treasurer or Vice-chair?
If you would like to know more about becoming a Director, please call in for a chat or talk to Paul Charnock, our Chair of the Board.
You can contact Healthwatch (Out of hours leave a message and we will get back to you):
01720 423037
or email us: contact@healthwatchilsesofscilly.co.uk
We look forward to hearing from you!
Healthwatch works hard to bring local issues to the attention of the people who plan and provide our health and care services: what works well, what could be improved. Please help us to carry on making a difference.
Would you like to know more?
If you would like to know more, please call in for a chat or talk to any of the current Board: Paul Charnock, Chris Douglas, Jane Hurd, Steve Manning or Tim Jones.
